Seems I've fallen a bit behind on blogging these last couple of weeks. I have been so busy shooting and processing images I actually forgot to blog. Not that I'm complaining, mind you!
Last week we had some great sessions with some wonderful people. I'd like to sincerely thank the Dilley family for the fun family session and for all they have done to help promote the studio this year. Dilley's, you guys rock!
On Saturday I photographed an egolf tournament at North Hampton golf club. That was a lot of fun and I got to meet 47 really great guys. I will be following their tour all season so I hope they don't get tired of me. :D
Saturday evening was the Ensemble concert and fundraiser for Clay High Band. I photographed many of the ensemble groups (they will be uploaded to the website later today). I also donated a free family portrait session and a 16X20" print for the silent auction. I understand it was a big hit. Yay!
Sunday was a great day, too. I photographed skydivers at Sky Dive Palatka. The pictures, as you might guess, are just lovely. All of the bright colors, perfect weather and really fun skydivers made the day a real treat. I also got to take a crazy flight with them; photograph them jumping out of the Cesna at 13,500 feet; then was treated to a nose-dive landing that nearly made me lose my lunch! I'd like to say a special thanks to Tommy, our pilot, for not killing me while he was trying to scare me a litte. :)
This week we will be playing catch up. All of last week's processing will get finished today and tomorrow. Friday I will work on March's marketing materials.
March and April will feature, among the usual sets in the studio, a new "spring" set which is perfect for the babies and children. We even have a life-size bunny costume for those darling Easter pictures. Call to schedule your spring / Easter session.
